welcome to Owls Class
Welcome to Owls Class – our brilliant Year 3 and Year 4 children! Owls are the oldest in the school, and with that comes new responsibilities and exciting opportunities. Our curriculum helps them to become confident, thoughtful learners, building skills across all subjects while developing resilience and independence.
In Owls, many pupils take on leadership roles such as School Ambassadors, Online Safety Leaders, or members of our School Council and Arts Council. These roles help children grow as responsible, engaged members of our school community and give them a voice in how our school runs. Owls are role models for younger children and help create the warm, welcoming atmosphere we value so highly.
Parental support remains key at this stage too. We encourage families to continue daily reading, support with weekly homework, and talk through class learning at home. Whether it’s researching a topic, practising times tables, or writing for fun, your involvement helps build confidence and a love of learning. We truly value our partnership with parents in supporting every child’s progress and wellbeing.

In order to improve the practice of times tables within our school, we use TTRockstars.
You can access the resource by going to TTRockstars.com.
Alternatively, you can download the free app through the app store or google play.
Year 3 can practise the 3, 4, 6 and 8 times tables.
Year 4 can practise them all.
Your child has been given their own username and password.
